The Swiss company Oberburg Engineering joined the KMK Maschinen in Rüti, Zurich, in 2002 and brought with them the knowledge and long experience of the machinery for metal and plastic caps. In 2004 KMK was rebranded as Packsys Global. Also in 2004, Oberburg introduced a compression molding machine, the KKP 4-32, to make caps in smaller batches for the beverage industry.

Oberburg, part of KMK Maschinen, for establishing new trends, setting industry benchmarks and offering new market application opportunities.
